The pandemic's impact on youth and young adults, with many missing critical social skill development due to school disruptions, requires our support, and RMYC's team-based model can aid in their recovery. In communities hit hard by the pandemic, resilience and growth are essential. Last year, New Mexico saw its largest wildfire ever, and ongoing trends demand resilient forests and thriving communities. RMYC not only addresses these landscapes but also cultivates the next generation of environmental professionals. Your support is crucial in continuing these vital efforts.

Kasey Brooke Romero has exemplified the transformative power of our programs. As a Crew Supervisor on the Taos Pueblo Conservation Crew, she contributed to rebuilding the outer wall that protects the pueblo and shared the wisdom and traditions of her people. Kasey now serves as an AmeriCorps Peer Mentor in our Public Health Prevention Program, supporting high school students with access to mental health resources. Her journey from mentee to mentor is a testament to the impact we can create together.
